Angeliki Frangou

Chairwoman of the Board and Director

Angeliki Frangou has been our Chairwoman of the Board and Director since its inception in December 2007. Ms. Frangou has also been the Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Navios Holdings and Navios Maritime Partners L.P. (NYSE: NMM), an international owner and operator of dry cargo and tanker vessels, since August 2007. Ms. Frangou is also a Member of the Board of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE), Ms. Frangou also acts as Vice Chairwoman of the China Classification Society Mediterranean Committee, and is a member of the International General Committee and of the Hellenic and Black Sea Committee of Bureau Veritas, and is also a member of the Greek Committee of Nippon Kaiji Kyokai. Ms. Frangou received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, summa cum laude, from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University.
